Package: cm-super-x11
Version: 0.3.3-5
Severity: normal

In any GTK application, where I try to do font selection
(e.g., with the vim-gtk, try the :set guifont=* to open the menu
font selector, or the Openoffice Writer char. formatting font selection),
whenever I select the "Computer Modern" family,
I correctly see a lot of variants in the "Style" column.

However, a lot of the styles map into one, making the real face
they designate unavailable. E.g.,
        Roman,
        Sans Serif,
        Caps and Small Caps,
        Variable Width Typewriter,
        Typewriter,
        Fibonacci Medium,
        Typewriter Caps and Small Caps,
        Dunhill Roman
all display the same, and look like the (real) Dunhill Roman.

Screen captures available upon request.

FYI: you might be interested in the cm-unicode.sf.net project,
doing a similar thing (they don't have Dunhill at all AFAIU,
but their CMU Typewriter Text font is a superb one for console
usage).
