I was referring to the initial bug report: "Whenever I try to write anything in the address bar or google search bar the Firefox chases (I uninstalled all extensions and wiped out all configuration files)"

In my situation Firefox freezes and sometimes renders KDE unusable.
However Ctrl+Shift+BS helps in that case.

As mentioned in the thread "gdb mozilla-firefox" and "run" didn't worked
for me since it is a shell script.
I also tried "gdb /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/firefox-bin" which also
didn't worked:
