Package: libsane Version: 1.0.19~cvs20070421-1 Followup-For: Bug #419197
Xsane works fine when running Linux 2.6.18-4-686 however when I boot 2.6.20-1-686 I have the problem described by Michael Burschik. Xsane appears to sane but the scanner does not react and xsane receives a black scan. I have xsane 0.99+0.991-3. scanimage (1.0.19~cvs20070421-1) works fine under both systems. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.20-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libsane depends on: ii adduser 3.102 Add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.5-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libexif12 0.6.13-5 library to parse EXIF files ii libgphoto2-2 2.3.1-3 gphoto2 digital camera library ii libgphoto2-port0 2.3.1-3 gphoto2 digital camera port librar ii libieee1284-3 0.2.10-5 cross-platform library for paralle ii libjpeg62 6b-13 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libtiff4 3.8.2-7 Tag Image File Format (TIFF) libra ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.12-7 userspace USB programming library ii makedev 2.3.1-83 creates device files in /dev Versions of packages libsane recommends: ii module-init-tools 3.3-pre4-2 tools for managing Linux kernel mo ii sane-utils 1.0.19~cvs20070421-1 API library for scanners -- utilit ii udev 0.105-4 /dev/ and hotplug management daemo -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
