Package: devscripts Version: 2.10.2 Severity: normal File: /usr/bin/wnpp-alert
By reading the man page and the output of --help, it is not easy to understand what the output of wnpp-alert means. I suppose that O stands for "orphaned" (but this is a guess), while I do not know what RFA and RFH stand for. This should be not only mentioned, but extensively explained in the man page. Also, while the output of --help mentions the WNPP web site, it does not give its URL. The same URL should go in the man page, too. Please note that I can find out this information myself, as I will shortly do. The problem that I want to raise is that I should not go hunting for this info, but find it in the man page and --help output. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-proposed-updates') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages devscripts depends on: ii debianutils 2.18 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii dpkg-dev 1.13.25 package building tools for Debian ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii perl 5.8.8-7 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii sed 4.1.5-1 The GNU sed stream editor Versions of packages devscripts recommends: ii fakeroot 1.6.5 Gives a fake root environment -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
