Hi,
file misidentifies some gzip files, see below:
% gzip -l unpaper.1.gz

% file unpaper.1.gz
unpaper.1.gz: FLI file - 17976 frames, width=770 pixels, height=28277 pixels,
depth=24944, ticks/frame=11890
This, in turn, causes lintian to emit a spurious error on that manpage (from
unpaper 0.2-2/amd64, in incoming).
