Hi, I would consider this a "major" problem. I would prefer scponlyc not to require a /dev/null at all, like it used to be. Upgrading a machine from sarge to etch will currently leave all scponlyc accounts unusable and the user with no clue on how to fix it. At least some upgrade path that creates a /dev/null in all home dirs of users with scponlyc as a shell would help. And of course also have that done in setup_chroot.sh.
