Thanks for clarifying.  After reading the developers-reference's bugs
section again, "important" set by Steve Langasek seems to be the right
severity --- thanks.

Reading openswan's postinst, their solution is also appropriate and
additionally configureable by the user.  Seems to be a bit better than
my rather static suggestion.
