This GLcore crash is actually a mesa problem in the server core (reassigning) and the same than bug #327699 (reassigning and merging). Both should be fixed now since upstream fixed this bug a while ago (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4087). Closing.
