I was trying to play with jirc, which depends on libpoe-component-jabber-perl, and this tool doesn't start with : Can't locate POE/Preprocessor.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /etc/perl /usr/local/lib/perl/5.8.8 /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/perl/5.8 /usr/share/perl/5.8 /usr/local/lib/site_perl .) at /usr/share/perl5/POE/Component/Jabber/Client/Legacy.pm If I modify /usr/share/perl5/POE/Component/Jabber/Client/Legacy.pm with only : package POE::Component::Jabber::Client::Legacy; -use POE::Preprocessor; +use Filter::Template; const XNode POE::Filter::XML::Node it could start and work perfectly! So I could hope that with the new upstream version described in this bug #404125, it will work directly.
