| Hi Dirk,
|
| I wanted to use rggobi on a fresh Etch install, but it does not work out
| of the box:
|

| Warning message:
| Your rggobi (2.1.4-2) is newer than your ggobi version (2.1.4). Please try to
update your ggobi. in: .check_versions()
|
| The problem seems trivial,
I am not so sure -- dooesn't the fix require installing a _newer_ ggobi into
etch? What rggobi is telling you that it is fine [ ie no fix to rggobi ]
but that ggobi is outdated.
| but I do not have enough knowledge of R
| internals to look for a fix. Do you think that a revised package could
| be prepared for Etch?
Moreover, I have a problem here:
- is all that R is saying 'warning' but it is actually running ?
- if so, how is that a 'renders package unusable bug' of severity 'grave' ?
Maybe I am missing something as it is 5:00am in the morning here...
