Package: lintian Version: 1.23.30 Severity: wishlist Hi,
The pkg-not-in-package-test has an explanation which goes as follows: "The menu item doesn't tests to see if the package that contains it is installed. This is probably an error. Perhaps it is spelled or capitalized wrong, or perhaps the menu file was copied from some other package and this was accidentally not changed." Not only is the first sentence grammatically wrong, it is also pretty much impossible to deduce from it what actually is the problem in question.
