Hello Matthias, I would like to double the report of Roger. Since UTF-8 is more and more common it was a serious deficiency of doxygen not to handle it well. So I would rate it more a bug than a wishlist entry.
Since more than one month I regularly look into aptitude if the new version is ready for download. I expect much from the new doxygen version and would be pleased to update it from the Debian repository soon. Keep up the good work.
