Package: inkscape Version: 0.44.1-1 Severity: normal When printing to a local CUPS printer, Inkscape appears to generate data for the printer (CPU load is 100% for a while, depending on the complexity of the image) but nothing is printed.
I have tried both Postscript and Bitmap output, and have tried entering the printer name as is into the printing dialog, as well as trying to pipe to lp. No combination that I've tried seems to work. The printer is local to the machine (connected via USB). Printing to the same printer from another computer works fine. I can just enter the printer name as is into the Inkscape printing dialog, and CUPS will take care of transfering the print job to the other computer and print it. [Perhaps this is related to: #277103: inkscape: exports empty ps/eps #276858: inkscape: Exported PS, EPS files incorrect/buggy] It would also be nice if Inkscape would use the default GTK/GNOME printing dialog, but it seems that this is already planned for a future upstream release (?).
