Package: net-tools
Version: 6.2-3
Severity: minor
cosmetic: when doing an "ifdown -a", the following message occurs:
ifconfig: invalid option -- i
usage: ifconfig [-L] [-C] interface address_family [address [dest_address]]
[parameters]
ifconfig interface create
ifconfig -a [-L] [-C] [-d] [-m] [-u] [-v] [address_family]
ifconfig -l [-d] [-u] [address_family]
ifconfig [-L] [-C] [-d] [-m] [-u] [-v]
Either make ifconfig handle -i (what's that supposed to do anyway?)
or make ifdown not call ifconfig with -i.
