Hello.

I've just received a new version from Intel,
which doesn't include the "bad" microcode.

Really the problem is in old kernels, which
did a extra (and wrong) check, and they discard
all the data if they found a microcode that is
smaller than the default value (and this assumption
is wrong: there are also such valid microcodes).

For lenny/sid, the loader will check the kernel
version, and load the appropriate files.

I've also contacted the debian kernel team,
to correct future kernels.

FYI: the official correct kernels are:
- 2.6.16.50 and following versions
- 2.6.18.5 and following versions
- 2.6.20 and later
