Package: pidgin Version: 2.0.0+dfsg.1-4 Severity: wishlist On my box I had gaim 1:2.0.0+beta6-2 (from experimental), now I wished to install pidgin 2.0.0+dfsg.1-4. apt-get install pidgin installed pidgin, but did not remove gaim... Replaces: gaim (<< 1:2.0.0+beta6-3) is not enough, you need also a Conflicts.
Additionally gaim does not pull pidgin automatically: gaim should be a transitional package only depending on pidgin, not the old gaim package anymore.
