Package: libwine Version: 0.9.31-1 Severity: normal
Whenever I run any wine application, it shows the following warning on start: > err:reg:SCSI_getprocentry SCSI type line scan count error (fscanf returns 1, > expected 2) The thing is clearly hardware-dependant, I observe it since moving to the new machine. After taking quick look at the code, it seems that the error happens here http://source.winehq.org/source/dlls/kernel32/oldconfig.c#L313 and depends on the syntax of /proc/scsi/scsi. My /proc/scsi/scsi reads: Attached devices: Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00 Vendor: ATA Model: ST3320620AS Rev: 3.AA Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 05 -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable'), (50, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.21-rc5 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages libwine depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.11 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libfreetype6 2.2.1-5 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgcc1 1:4.1.1-21 GCC support library ii libice6 1:1.0.1-2 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libsm6 1:1.0.1-3 X11 Session Management library ii libstdc++6 4.1.1-21 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 1:1.0.1-2 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxml2 2.6.27.dfsg-1 GNOME XML library ii libxslt1.1 1.1.19-1 XSLT processing library - runtime ii libxxf86vm1 1:1.0.1-2 X11 XFree86 video mode extension l Versions of packages libwine recommends: ii libwine-gl 0.9.31-1 Windows API Implementation (OpenGL ii libwine-print 0.9.31-1 Windows API Implementation (Printi -- debconf information: wine/move_to_fhs: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
