Well I respect your opinion but I have not been convinced that your
interpretation is the only correct one.
i dont really understand what your interpretation is. all you've said
is that the behavior dash exhibits is allowed by the standard, but not
how you came to that conclusion.
the bash list clearly outlines how the behavior exhibited by bash is
correct according to POSIX and how people came to that conclusion.
If you guys really care about this, please bring it to the attention
of the Austin group so that it can be clarified.
