Package: ion3-dev Version: 20070506-1 Severity: normal Hi,
There's no Debian package for mod_xrandr-3, so I have to build it from Tuomo's darcs repository (http://modeemi.fi/~tuomov/repos/mod_xrandr-3). The problem is that his Makefile doesn't seem to like the how dev files are fractured between /usr/lib/ion3, /usr/share/ion3, and /usr/include/ion3. I'm not making a recommendation to violate the FHS, but maybe after trying to get that module to compile, you'll come up with a reasonable solution for users that would like to not hack with the Makefile too heavily. Maybe you can even provide mod_xrandr-3 as a Debian package like has been done with ion3-mod-xinerama and ion3-mod-ionflux (although these packages seem out of date right now). - Sukant -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (90, 'unstable'), (80, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.20-hole (PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages ion3-dev depends on: ii gcc 4:4.1.1-15 The GNU C compiler ii libsm-dev 1:1.0.2-2 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libx11-dev 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library (developme ii lua5.1 5.1.2-1 Simple, extensible, embeddable pro ion3-dev recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
