Package: libgphoto2-2
Version: 2.3.1-5
Severity: important

Libgphoto2 has a limit on the number of image files it can handle. This
appears to be set to 1024 in the current package version. I have 1994
photos on an 8 GB CF card in my Canon EOS 400D. Because of the limit I
cannot copy the photos to my filesystem. When I had fewer images on my
memory card, I was able to copy images to the filesystem without trouble.

Here is the relevant excerpt from the output of
    LANG=C gphoto2 --get-all-files --debug
