Package: libldap2
Version: 2.1.30-13.3
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

We're using libldap2 in combination with kerberos for AD authentication
and authorization. Often, login, id lookups and samba fail due to an
assertion failure in liblber.

Here's the output of a failed call to id:
$ id xxxx
id: /tmp/buildd/openldap2-2.1.30/libraries/liblber/sockbuf.c:82:
ber_sockbuf_ctrl: Assertion `( (sb)->sb_opts.lbo_valid == 0x3 )' failed.
uid=1055(xxxx) gid=12000(foobar)Aborted

Samba crashes, the panic action script comes up with a stack trace:
