I don't know if it will help you, but the libjpegg-dev and the libjpeg6b
real packages were dropped in 1998. I would consider a RC bug to still
using them seven years later.

Before removing them, I checked they were not used in woody and sid.
Apparently I forgot Build-Depends, and I did not check sarge itself. Is
there a reliable way I can use to recheck everything correctly ?

I completly agree with the seriousness of the bug, no matter what.
