Package: moin
Version: 1.3.4-1
Severity: normal

The recent 1.3.4-1 upgrade does not do enough to handle the issue of
incompatible upgrades.

My previous version, which I assume was 1.2.something, had a
significantly different configuration syntax and data format.

The install scripts do not provide any kind of warning that installing
the package will render the current configuration unusable, nor do they
provide a note pointing users at the README.migration. Had such a
warning been present, I could have deferred my migration and done it at
my leisure.

I only found out about the problems when users of my site began
complaining!

Additionally, the README.migration contains the pointless direction to
back up one's /usr/lib/python*/site-packages/MoinMoin directory, when,
in fact, there's nothing left there to back up.
