Hi this bugs may be retitled or close. XftConfig (xft1) is obsolete since X 4.2 , replaced by fontconfig/Xft2.
Maybe it should refresh the fontconfig cache ... I have tried looking for how other fonts packages does but there seems to be no common ground (and so much font packages to look for !) Maybe debian-x knows if there is debhelper to do that or it is just a matter of running fc-cache ... Also i wonder if gsfonts-x11 is really needed. gsfonts register its fonts to x11 via defoma. Or am i wrong ? Could removing this package breaks some applications that hard code its font path ?
