The website mentions that version 0.63 is the latest but effectively the
website is outdated. If you download the version marked as stable you
get the version 0.64.

This version corrects problems accessing MS-SQL server 2005 so I'd like to
see it available in Debian unstable.

I quickly hacked a temporary package based on Steve's preliminary work
(http://people.debian.org/~vorlon/freetds/).

Beware I didn't check anything (and I probably left some cruft from the
patches that didn't apply cleanly). I just wanted quickly a working
package (and it's compiled for sarge, as I needed it for sarge).
