Package: jfbterm Version: 0.4.7-2 Severity: normal Start GNU screen inside jfbterm (I have version 4.0.2-4.1). Run any application which makes use of the hardstatus function. For example mutt, ELinks, centericq do and mc, aptitude do not. When switching to a window with such application, the screen starts jumping down and up horribly (it jumps by exactly one line). Sometimes a bit of switching to other windows back and forth will make it stop jumping, sometimes not. Sometimes after a few minutes it will stop jumping by itself.
A workaround is to include one of these lines in .screenrc : hardstatus alwaysignore (to disable the hardstatus function) or hardstatus alwayslastline (to make it work without the screen jumping). -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i586) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-1-386 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages jfbterm depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii unifont 1:1.0-1 X11 dual-width GNU unicode font ii xfonts-base 4.3.0.dfsg.1-12 standard fonts for X -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
