Package: conky Followup-For: Bug #428461 Hi!
The bug vanished as soon as I upgraded Xorg (to version 1:7.2-3). Now I get: $ conky Conky: forked to background, pid is 5345 $ Conky: desktop window (5b) is root window Conky: window type - desktop Conky: hint - undecorated Conky: hint - below Conky: hint - sticky Conky: hint - skip_taskbar Conky: hint - skip_pager Conky: drawing to created window (c00002) Conky: drawing to double buffer and conky runs fine, *with* double buffering! I even tried to force the configuration file rereading: $ killall -SIGUSR1 conky Conky: received SIGUSR1. reloading the config file. and no problem with conky display showed up.
