Hi, Is there a reason (beyond nobody did it yet) we do not ship the Digium asterisk French/Spanish sounds?
In particular: - Can we presume the same license as Asterisk (or the English core sounds), or do we want an explicit OK from Digium? In the latter case, has anybody contacted Digium about that? - Shall we include them in the repackaged upstream tarball or as separate source packages? - Do we want to ship all coding variants or just GSM? I'm willing to do that task. Starting this evening (Europe time) if legal matters allow. (You may have forgotten because I am so inactive, but I have SVN commit privileges on pkg-voip.) I may also package http://public.indigen.com/asterisk-1.2-sounds-fr-armelle.tar.gz and/or http://xivo.fr/debian/prompt-fr-france-20060911.tgz, if I can contact their suppliers and confirm a free license on them.
