Hi,

interesting solution to the problem:

I played around with a second soundcard long time abo. I wanted ALSA to
use the second soundcard per default, and created a ~/.asoundrc for
this. However, the .asoundrc file didn't work as expected and I gave
up.

After the upgrade to libasound2 1.14, it looks like the .asoundrc file
started to really work as desired and ALSA tried to use the second
soundcard, which doesn't exist anymore.

I moved the .asoundrc file away and everything works again.

Regards,
Tino
