Package: asterisk Severity: normal Hello there,
the package description of asterisk says that it supports isdn4linux. This is not quite true, as the compilation of chan_modem_i4l.so is deactivated in the Makefile under channels/ . I propose three solutions (in order of preference): 1) Comment in the compilation of chan_modem_i4l.so, so that Debian has it enabled. 2) Leave it commented out, but add some information to README how to build your own package with isdn4linux support. 3) Remove this one line in the package description text.
