Package: evms Version: 2.5.1-1 Severity: wishlist The current EVMS User Guide, section 24, mentions 2 command line utilities to backup and restore evms metadata: evms_metadata_backup and evms_metadata_restore. Apparently they were added in 2.5.0.
It would be helpful to add those to the Debian packages. Probably evms-cli is the right place, but maybe there's some more basic package that would be better (they are not part of the command line interface). The same section refers to two evms.conf options related to metadata. Some adjustments of the distributed evms.conf and/or the upgrade scripts might be appropriate.
