Package: hostapd
Version: 1:0.5.7-1
Severity: wishlist

Please include the devicescape driver. With the kernels from
debian-kernel's trunk (such as the one I'm using), the devicescape stack
is included, albeit as mac80211. This makes it possible to use regular
cards (if recompiled for the devicescape stack) with hostapd, which
would be a good thing.

I realize that this may not be feasible at the immediate moment, due to
the fact that the newest kernels are not in Debian, but if that's the
case, just take this as a request to do it when possible.

Thank you.
