At the very minimum if you have some latexsuite-specific settings please send them to us, otherwise a copy of your .vimrc (or generally of your ~/.vim) would help. Also if you know you changes something in /etc/vim/vimrc please send that as well.
Is the bug reproducible invoking vim with -u NONE -U NONE ? Probably to test that you should manually source /usr/share/vim/addons/ftplugin/latex-suite/main.vim ... Thanks for your report!
