Hi, I am not sure that it would be a good idea to automatically add rewrite rules via packages, because it would be quite easy to break RewriteRules added by the user. For example, automatically added rules could not use the [L] flag.
What kind of rules would you want to add. Maybe you could use RedirectMatch, AliasMatch, etc. instead? Cheers, Stefan
