Package: hotkey-setup
Version: 0.1-17
Followup-For: Bug #430031

I think there is a better solution found here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hotkey-setup/+bug/45404
As it is pointed out in this thread the expensive part is reading and
seeking in nvram. So there is a patch
http://launchpadlibrarian.net/7398548/hotkey-setup_0.1-17ubuntu9_optimize+CFLAGS.patch
which reduces these read and seeking operation a lot.

Hope this will be included soon.
