Package: pidentd
Version: 3.0.19.ds1-3
Severity: normal
File: /usr/sbin/identd
My system complaints about problem accessing to /var/run/identd.pid:
Jun 22 21:36:21 hercules identd[5109]: s_open("/var/run/identd.pid", O_WRONLY):
Permission denied
Looking at /var/run, it seems to exist a /var/run/identd directory.
Perhaps could you pre-configure /etc/identd.conf in order to use a file
/var/run/identd/identd.pid instead.
