can you please check the latest version of sarg from unstable
(2.2.3.1-1)? Many bug have been fixed since the version you found
this bug in.

According to sarg.conf the format for the host exclusion file works
like
this:
# TAG: exclude_hosts file
# Hosts, domains or subnets will be excluded from reports.

# s1.acme.foo - exclude hostname only
# acme.foo - exclude full domain name

The domain syntax does not work - e.g. adding akamai.net will not
cause
a248.e.akamai.net to be ignored.
