Policy 10.2 requires static libraries not to be built with -fPIC. This does not seem to work on 64bit archs though (is hppa a 64bit architecture)? This problem has already been reported (see #358637). I'm not quite sure yet if that's a general problem on non 32bit architectures. In that case the policy should be changed in this respect. I need to do further investigations before. To temporarily work around this issue, I will disable the plugins causing that kind of problems on hppa (as I'm already doing on other 64bit architectures).
