Package: libportaudio19-0 Version: 19+20041112-2 Severity: important Tags: experimental
When trying to use libiaxclient under a GUI program such as IAXComm or tkiaxphone, the program crashes with a message: pa_linux_alsa/pa_linux_alsa.c:2630: CallbackThreadFunc: Assertion `framesProcessed == framesGot' failed. The file referenced is in libportaudio19-0. The ALSA driver involved is operating a Maestro 2e "ES1978" sound chip, using the snd-es1968 module. Perhaps incidentally, the iaxcomm upstream binary releases 1.0-rc3 and 1.0-rc2 also fail (they complain: "PortAudio: read interrupted!", but 1.0-rc1 works. These binaries have portions of libportaudio18 (which appears to be a different codebase) compiled in statically. Is there anything newer (since November '04) that I might build and try? -- System Information: Debian Release: 2.2 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11.6-ss Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages libportaudio19-0 depends on: ii libasound2 1.0.8-3 ALSA library ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-17 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
