Package: libsnack2 Version: 2.2.10-dfsg1-1 Severity: important I've now reproduced this bug on two different systems, one a clean install of stable. I've reproduced this on intel8x0 hda_intel and usb_audio sound drivers, on two different sets of machines (an Asus laptop and a Dell desktop), with multiple versions of the kernel from 2.6.17 to 2.6.21.
Basically the 2.9.10 version of libstack2 appears to be broken for audio output. I'm using transcriber and waversurfer, and both have the same problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages libsnack2 depends on: ii libasound2 1.0.12-1 ALSA library ii libc6 2.5-9+b1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libogg0 1.1.3-2 Ogg Bitstream Library ii libvorbis0a 1.1.2-1 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi ii libvorbisenc2 1.1.2-1 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-6 X11 client-side library ii tcl8.3 [tclsh] 8.3.5-5 Tcl (the Tool Command Language) v8 ii tcl8.4 [tclsh] 8.4.12-1 Tcl (the Tool Command Language) v8 libsnack2 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
