Microsoft renamed the protocol from smb to cifs. This results in new userland tools like mount.cifs instead of mount.smb. In fstab you can replace "smbfs" with "cifs" and test your reported problem again. thx. -- Noèl Köthe <noel debian.org> Debian GNU/Linux, www.debian.org
