Hello, thanks for reporting.

What is the output of ept-cache info in your system?  For TFIDF to work
it should say: "Popcon local scan: enabled."

These are simple operations to reproduce the problem:

 ept-cache info
 ept-cache search -s t | head
 ept-cache search -s t- | head

Just paste me the output of ept-cache info if you don't want to
potentially disclose information about unusual packages that you have
installed.

In my case, popcon local scan is enabled and the two ept-cache search
commands produce different output.
