I hereby confirm what bug #217390 mentions�: nearly if not all Italian man pages of shadow are completely outdated and likely to be confusing to users. Such so outdated material really confirms the need for using PO format for documentation translations. For instance, for man pages, when a few strings are not translated in a given language, the relevant paragraphs are kept in English in the translated file. So, instead of being completely outdated, the translated man page is still complete, even if not completely translated. Tomasz, this is really a very strong argument to switch man pages translations to po4a, indeed..:-) In the meantime, well, we will maybe drop the man pages translations which are obviously outdated. --
