Package: debhelper Version: 5.0.52 Severity: important Please add "|| true" to gtk-update-icon-cache calls in postinst/postrm. The postinsts in Ubuntu are currently bombing out on things like /usr/share/locolor (of openoffice.org) which does not ship an index.theme file. This is arguably a bug in openoffice.org; but the user experience is horrible: due to something silly as an updated icon cache the package installation is broken.
Please add "|| true" to the postinsts and postrms, so gtk-update-icon-cache does not bomb out anymore. I really don't want to bitch around, but it might have been worth to check the dh_iconcache before - in Ubuntu we went through several iterations of changes before we were happy with it. The "|| true" change included. Have a nice day, let's hope this is going to be the final change to make us happy with iconcaches. Daniel
