tag 432722 +wontfix
thanks
2007/7/11, Magnus Therning <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
Package: gnome-rdp
Version: 0.2.2-2
Severity: normal
Shouldn't the package at least recommend rdesktop?
Hi Magnus,
gnome-desktop does not necessarily need rdesktop. In fact, you could
use it only for VNC or only ssh, or both but not rdesktop.
In the debian/control file, there is a:
Depends: ${cli:Depends}, gnome-terminal, openssh-client |
xtightvncviewer | rdesktop, libgtk2.0-0
That means that gnome-rdp depends on openssh-client OR xtightvncviewer
OR rdesktop.
Actually, you can see those dependencies also on
http://packages.debian.org/unstable/gnome/gnome-rdp .
Please report if you have any other problem (or if the actual one
occurs once again).
Kindly,
David
P.S.: I've added a "wontfix" tag, because the installation is meant in
this way: you install gnome-rdp and _at_ _least_ _one_ of the "client
dependencies" (let's call them so).
