A user on the ion-general mailing list reported the error message "Unable to find 'debian-menu-i18n' on search path" We established that /var/lib/ion3/debian-menu-i18n.lua was missing. Since ion3 merely suggests the "menu" package, it should be expected that dh_installmenu will not always cause this file to be generated. The package needs to either depend on "menu" or work correctly without it.
