OK, now that Tomasz has applied this upstream, you can probably build the appropriate dpatch patch and put it in the 3xx series, Alex.... Just tell us if you do not feel comfortable with that, but, yikes, you should�: after all, I'm even able to do this myself (badly and manually but that works). As soon as the patch is commited, don't forget tagging the bug as pending.
