Package: kernel-package Version: 8.131 Severity: normal Hi,
There seems to be an extraneous space somewhere, as one of the last lines of a kernel build is: cp arch/i386 /boot/bzImage debian/tmp-image/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.29 Of course, since debian/tmp-image/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.29 is what we're trying to create, it's not a directory. So the build fails. Full invocation is: fakeroot make-kpkg --added-patches=soekris --revision=8 kernel-image modules clean modules-clean This works with version 8.130, fails with 8.131.
