Hi, none of the links to pdf files in this bug report titled
"gv doesn't display some text that acroread shows"
seem to work any
more, so I've no way to reproduce this with a current version or to search
for the problem.

There is this manual.ps, but that is not about some text hidden, but a
whole page missing. And that is missing because gv is confused by all
pages having the same number (I guess this ps was generated but someone
not understanding how postscript page numbers work). I'll split that out
into an extra minor bug report)
