tags +patch severity normal thanks Hi,
I just got the HP Officejet J4780. It does not work with the currently packaged hplip (so the severity to 'normal'), so I try to make a new package from the latest release. I try to change as little as possible your packaging. I'm not sure I really succeed (python files are in hplip-data instead of hplip, ...) I'm sure there is some upgrading issue to take care But I got a working package that allows me to use my printer (printing and scanning at least) For anyone interested, you can find all of this here: http://www-id.imag.fr/~danjean/deb.html#hplip I do not plan to correct this package or to improve it. But feel free to add remarks (if any) to this bug report so that the maintainer can use them if he wants to.
